Spring Renewal Retreat

  • The Crossing at Ghost River (map)

Registration is now closed. The next retreat will be held on Oct 27-29. Registration opens May 1.

Spring always feels like a fresh start. It’s a great time to shake off the dark of winter and step into the light. This spring retreat will celebrate the return of light and warmth and give you the opportunity to renew your energy and your inspiration.

This is what a past participant said:

“Retreats hold a special place for me, especially when the seasons are changing, and I need to pause and reflect. This retreat is affordable, close to home, and offers just enough ‘woo-woo’. I never felt uncomfortable or forced to share, which made my introvert-self happy.

Over the course of the weekend, the noise of my life receded. I felt so much calmer when I left on Sunday, and I walked away with tools I could use in my daily life to come back to that quiet place.”

Join me for a relaxing weekend of yoga, creative workshops, nature walks, delicious food, laughter, and inspiration.  We’ll reflect on what’s past, plan for what’s ahead, and renew ourselves through time in nature. This is the 6th retreat I’ve hosted. My website will tell you more about me.

This retreat is exclusively for women, and there is no doubt that you’ll spend the weekend with an amazing group of people.

The setting is The Crossing at Ghost River, a luxurious retreat centre nestled beside a river in the foothills of the Rockies, just 20 minutes northwest of Cochrane.  You’ll enjoy delicious, chef-prepared meals, yoga and meditation classes in a beautiful venue, and your own room and private bathroom.

I’m excited that Karen Styles will be joining as my co-host for this retreat. Here’s a quick word of introduction from Karen:

Hi! I’m Karen Styles, a Certified Life Coach and Career Courage Coach at Flow + Fire Coaching

I’ve long pondered the question: what do I do when I feel like I SHOULD be happy but I’m not? My life is good on paper, so why am I struggling? How do we manage when two opposing things seem to be true at once?

I’ve discovered that acknowledging and accepting where you are suffering goes a long way towards getting started. Sitting with your struggles, and taking the time to discover what your Essential Self already knows and uncovering your inner wisdom. This is a practice, and there are coaching tools I come back to over and over again to ground and centre myself when I feel off track.

These practices have supported me through a variety of life changes (job change, grief & loss, and starting a business to name a few). And our growth solidifies when we share our experiences with others.

My hope is that you’ll have the chance to connect more deeply with your inner voice and connect with other women at this retreat. I can’t wait to meet you!

“Stepping out of the momentum of my life and into the space that allowed for and cocooned me in the caring and compassion of others was more than a salve; it was a necessary kindness.”
